The Laser Machinegun is a magic weapon dropped by Martian Saucers, and thus is one of the obtainable items from the Martian Madness event. Before going into full firing speed, the machine gun will spin up for roughly 3 seconds until it reaches its maximum fire rate. Every shot fires multiple lasers towards the cursor. This makes it viable against small targets, since every shot has multiple chances to hit, and destructive against larger monsters that can be hit by more shots at once.
The Laser Machinegun's best modifier is Mythical.
